| SOCAL SUPER D STAGE RACE 2010 SERIES |
| The SoCal Super D Stage Race is a 1 day event consisting of 3 Super D races on 3 different courses! I know that sounds a bit confusing. But it really is pretty simple! Here's how it works: 1. Onsite registration and racer check in takes place at 6:30 am - 8:00 am race morning. 2. The first race of the day takes place at 10:00 am. The first race course will be about 2 -10 minutes long and consist mostly of downhill with a couple of pedaling sections thrown in for fun! The downhill in the first race will tend to be a bit more technical and fast! It is meant to emphasize trail biking and downhill skills. But it is not a scary downhill course! This is a super D! At the end of the race results will be tallied and posted. 3. The second race of the day will start at 1:00 pm. The second race course will about 2 -10 minutes long and consist of mostly downhill with a few pedaling sections thrown in for more fun! This race will feature less technical sections and a couple of short steep sections at key points. But this race is not XC and not Short Track! It is a Super D - where gravity is your friend! At the end of the race results will be tallied and posted. 3. The third and final race of the day goes off at 4:00 pm. The third course of the day will be about 5 -15 minutes in duration and consist mostly of downhill with a few pedaling sections thrown in for the most fun! The third and final race will have a great combination of the previous 2 races. It will be mostly downhill with a few technical sections, some pedaling sections, and a few short steeps to keep you on you game! But remember this is not a Downhill course or an XC course it is Super D! Super FuNNN! At the end of the third and final race results will be tallied and posted. 4. At the end of the day Overall results will be tallied and the Overall winners will be crowned SoCal Super D Champions! |
