1-20-2012 ATTENTION ALL RACER FOR THIS WEEKEND - ALL RACES THIS WEEKEND
ARE RAIN OR SHINE! THEY ARE HAPPENING REGARDLESS OF WEATHER! It looks
like were only in for minor rain the local forecast is calling for less than a quarter inch!
Also being up 1000 ft above Temecula we usually dont see much at all! But there is a
chance for rain this weekend, so come out prepared! Bring cold weather gear and
plenty of dry clothing! In the case of unsafe conditions the event promoter will make all
appropriate decisions concerning the races!

1-16-2012 It has been great working with Crankbrothers as a new partner and sponsor!
They have some great ideas and creative ways to spice up our events. One of the way s
is to use Strava and create a speed trap sectin of the race course. For the January 12
Hour we will use the Tunnel of love Section as the speed trap. In A nutshell you will go
as fast as you can with your GPS on in the Tunell section and upload your results on
Strava. The winner of the speed trap will get special awards from Crankbrothers!

12-08-2011 We have amended the Iron Warrior category. Now when you sign up as an
Iron Warrior you will receive a 10% discount on both races for the weekend! Check the

12-08-2011 We have added an additional category for 2012. Introducing the 1 Lap True
Beginner Category. It is a category for those who wish to try racing for the very first
time. It is a great way to get your feet wet and see what you've been missing out on! So
all you support folks, spouses, parents, and whoever else didnt think you could do it -
nows your chance! It is one lap of the 12 Hour course. You will start at the same time,
the same way as all the other racers. The 1 Lappers will start at 9am and hopefully be
finished by 12 o'clock noon! We will have medals for the top 3 men and top 3 women of
the day! There will not be an overall winner in this category for the end of the year!
Hopefully they all get excited enough to go for more!

11-21-2011 We have opened a new category for 2012. It is called the Iron Warrior
category. It is for racers who want to race both the "12 & 6 Hours Of Temecula" and the
Enduro Stage Race the next day! The Iron Warrior category will allow a discount for the
2 races. The race must be a solo and register for both races. Please note there will not
be an overall jersey for the Iron Warrior category. You will be eligible for the 12 &6 Hour
category overall Jersey you've competed for.

SOCAL EPIC 50 RESULTS
9-29-2011 The Epic 50 Marathon this weekend is looking to be a good one. Weather is in
the 80's and sunny! Competition is heating up and the course is ready to rock. Couple
of notes, The race starts officially at 9 oclock am. All classes will start together. Online
registration closes tonight at midnight. Onsite registration will happen friday evening 4:
30 - 6:30 and Saturday morning 6:30 - 8:00 am. Looks like Tinker Juarez will be out with
us defending the 2010 jersey from all comers. The SoCal Endurance clothing will be on
display for all to see and buy. New shirts and designs are rocking! Get yours while

8-30-2011 We here at SoCal Endurance have decided to make the Singlespeed Monster
Mash a Full NON PROFIT event. All procedes will go to the Phoenix Patriot Foundation
and the Mountain 2 Mountain Campaigns. There will be no registration fees. At the event
all dontaions will be greatly appreciated and accepted on behalf of our Non profit

8-12-2011 The course for the Fat tire Epic 50 is posted. It is slightly different from last
year. My crew and I will be working on the course for the next month. It is a bit
overgrown at this time on the back loop. But it is rideable and fun! We'll have it in tip top
shape come race day!

1-25-2011 Well the first race of 2011 is in the books! It was a fantastic day of racing. With temps in the
low 70's and a super fun course it was EPIC! We truly appreciate the support from all our racers and
support crews. It was awesome to see all you out having a good time. We are looking forward to
bring you the next edition of 12 and 6 Hour racing on June 4th.
1-20-2011 Well I am heading out o the venue for good this week. I will be on site from thursday till
Sunday. I am very excited to see you all this weekend. The Weather should be awesome and the
course will be Epic! Onsite registration will be Friday evening from 4:30 - 6:30 pm and Saturday
Morning ( race day) from 6:00am - 7:30 am. Get there early to get there best spots!

1-18-2011 Do to unfortunate scheduling conflicts and circumstances beyond our control we are
postponing the SoCal Singlespeed Monster Mash (March 19th 2011). The good news is we are
planning on putting the SoCal Bicycle Festival back on in October at VBail Lake Resort. More than
likely the Monster Mash will be part of this festival! Tentative date for the SoCal Bike Fest will be the
weekend of Oct 8th.

Club Ride Apparel announced today it will be a product sponsor in the 2011 SoCal Endurance 12
Hour Race Series in Temecula, CA. The 2011 Race Series is Southern California's premier
endurance mountain biking race series and it encompasses three separate 12 hour races for team
and solo riders at Vail Lake Resort in Temecula.

12-21-2010 New for 2011, we opened up a men's and women's 6 hour solo category, and a Salty Dog
Category for the 4 person mature racers (180+ ages Team)! The time frames are from 9am - 3pm.
Awards will be given at the conclusion of the 6 hr race. Overall 2011 jerseys will be awarded at the
end of the 3 race series. Racers must compete in at least 2 of the races to be eligible for the overall
title of " 6 Hour Champion".

1-25-2011 Well the first race of 2011 is in the books! It was a fantastic day of racing. With temps in the
low 70's and a super fun course it was EPIC! We truly appreciate the support from all our racers and
support crews. It was awesome to see all you out having a good time. We are looking forward to
bring you the next edition of 12 and 6 Hour racing on June 4th.
1-20-2011 Well I am heading out o the venue for good this week. I will be on site from thursday till
Sunday. I am very excited to see you all this weekend. The Weather should be awesome and the
course will be Epic! Onsite registration will be Friday evening from 4:30 - 6:30 pm and Saturday
Morning ( race day) from 6:00am - 7:30 am. Get there early to get there best spots!

1-18-2011 Do to unfortunate scheduling conflicts and circumstances beyond our control we are
postponing the SoCal Singlespeed Monster Mash (March 19th 2011). The good news is we are
planning on putting the SoCal Bicycle Festival back on in October at VBail Lake Resort. More than
likely the Monster Mash will be part of this festival! Tentative date for the SoCal Bike Fest will be the
weekend of Oct 8th.

Club Ride Apparel announced today it will be a product sponsor in the 2011 SoCal Endurance 12
Hour Race Series in Temecula, CA. The 2011 Race Series is Southern California's premier
endurance mountain biking race series and it encompasses three separate 12 hour races for team
and solo riders at Vail Lake Resort in Temecula.
According to Mike Herlinger, founder and designer of Club Ride, “We are very excited to be a Race
Series product sponsor. As a company based in the mountain biking mecca of Sun Valley, Idaho and
as a sponsor of a grass roots race team focused on endurance mountain bike races, the SoCal Race
Series is a part of bike racing that we love to participate in and support.”
The first race of the 2011 Race Series is January 22 and the subsequent races are on June 4 and
November 12. Each of the 3 races are scored and awarded as an individual 12 hour race. The overall
winners of the Series will be crowned the 2011 California State Endurance Champions.
Club Ride team riders will participate in the Series races and will be racing in the company’s
revolutionary cycling apparel which integrates performance and function with style and comfort.
Herlinger adds, “Our riders have chosen to race in our street style shirts and shorts over traditional

1-7-2011 Race day registration for the January 12 Hours will take place on Friday evening the 21st at
4:30-6:30pm and then again on race day at 6:00am till 7:30 am before the start of the race. Try to be
early and have your packets signed!
1-7- 2011 The January 22nd course will start getting marked as of Saturday the 8th. I will be out on
course all weeek doing maintenance and marking the course.

12-21-2010 New for 2011, we opened up a men's and women's 6 hour solo category, and a Salty Dog
Category for the 4 person mature racers (180+ ages Team)! The time frames are from 9am - 3pm.
Awards will be given at the conclusion of the 6 hr race. Overall 2011 jerseys will be awarded at the
end of the 3 race series. Racers must compete in at least 2 of the races to be eligible for the overall
title of " 6 Hour Champion".
