| THE MONSTER MASH IS NOW A FREEBEE EVENT PUT ON TO BENEFIT THE PPF & M2M. THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATION FEES. BUT ANY AND ALL DONATIONS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. The Monster Mash Is now scheduled to be held October 8th at 5 oclock pm on Saturday afternoon. Please stay with us afterward for a party and fun times! Join us for the Party of the year! Get together with friends and family and experience some of SoCal's best trails. No worries about gears and fancy equipment. Just you and your singlespeed. The pure essence of riding! This event is a full weekend of fun and games. The whole family will have fun in the sun at Vail Lake resort. |
| The actual race itself is more like a big ride with friends! Of course you'll have the super fast guys, but the emphasis is on fun and comaraderie. The course is limited to singlespeed bikes only! Our plan is to make it singlespeed friendly and a blast to ride. We are looking to put some surprises on course to have a little fun. Costumes are welcome. Halloween is right around the corner, so its great time knock the cob webs off and dig out the costumes. Expect special prizes for the best costumes on site! |
| Details: Onsite registration Starts at 4:30pm Friday afternoon. The venue for the weekend will be held in the Vail Lake Village! ( The Village is adjacent to the registration area and mini golf area! ) Race start: 5:00 in the afternoon Ends: When you get done! Singlespeed bikes only! Awards to the top 3 in each category. The Course will be a good mix of singletrack, fireroad, doubletrack, and campground roads. The course will be about 7-8 miles long and feature some of Vail Lakes best! Food and drinks - (BBQ and Fresh Taco Bar) The Vail Lake Saloon will be open ( real western style bar ) Post race festivities start at about 6:00 pm Plenty of beer, music, and food for all!
